Hi Rachelmum,
Congrats on having #2.
Youโre planning to find a part-time so soon ? Whoโs going to look after the kids ? They are still very young and clingy, esp the daughter. In any case, take care of yourself and esp during confinement. -
Thks for the welcome & concern, Janet :celebrate:
May get a maid to help me out during the day & daddy can help at night.
Thinking to look out for part-time teaching like few nights in a wk, so i can still spend time with the young ones.
No maternity leave nor benefits now ...
so maybe start look out for job when DS is more or less 2-3mth old -

If youโre interested in volunteering, you should check out SGCares too. I signed up but hv yet to drag myself off to attend the compulsory orientation course at their office in Central haha. You need to go for orientation before signing up for activities online.

Helloooo fellow SAHMs!
I've been a SAHM for 5 months now. Loving it though must admit that I do miss working life. The social aspect, the $$$$, business trips, perks but not so much the work
Thinking of doing part time work, but not sure what's suitable, since baby#2 due in about 5 mths, DS just entered P1 this year and need to look after aging & hard-of hearing in-laws. Cant leave all these to maids.
Am quite worried on how employable I'll be 3-5 years from now.. so I'm learning a couple of things .. Hopefully these can help to make some pocket money and passive income, and hopefully dont need to beg someone to hire me next time.... . -
I am currently servicing my resignation notice. My last day is on 19th Feb. After much pondering and debating DH and me decided that I should quit and be a full time mom to my two boys age 11 and 13. I now look forward to my new role but at the same time wondering how should I make full use of this role. DH is too busy as his business picked up. Much of the time it was he who ferried the boys to school, tuiton etc etc. Now its my duty to take over. My sons do have tuitons but at the same time I want to teach them at home too.. to cut a long story short.. my questions are how to start/organising/scheduling time tables/how much to teach . I am at lost as Ive been working practically throughout my life and I dont know how to fit it..Stay home moms out thre..pls help.. thx :?
