can't go to the open house but desperately need to know at the most recent O levels, how did the boys perform? i need to know how many percent score 5 distinctions and above in the school. the website did publish some infor on the school performance but no information on the percentage which scored 5 distinction and above...need that to compare with another school.

              thks much
SJI have always been a band 1 / 2 school. Its is renowned for its holistic development of its students more than anything else. If grading is the main concern, then maybe not the right school for you....

HI dreamgear, i am not really so concerned abt grading…just that , the other school i am also looking at also focuses on other aspects such as character building etc so i am finding it a bit hard to choose… thought i’ll use results as a deciding factor then… thks for the reminder that sji is renowned for the holistic development which i think is impt too…

in any case, i have decided to put sji as first choice:)

Hi, i think its a really good 1st choice... SJI was also at the top 2 of my list when my ds was choosing his school... Although in the end he went for the other because he felt more at home there (think due to his sap primary school)..

Good luck and all the best!

thks dreamgear… keeping my fingers crossed that he will get in as his score is 1 pt below last year’s cut off so hopefully the cop would be lowered this year…

                    regards

                      Hi,

My DS will in be in Sec 3 next year, so far, no regret sending him to SJI.
Teachers are engaging, school are well organised, even the orientation is impressive.

The boys are developed holistically, well mannered, confident and not just pursuing academic excellence.

Schools also offered range of enrichment programmes etc

Need to put SJI as first choice if you need to appeal.

                      cheers !
