Hi, My dd will be in Hong Wen next year. Have to place her at after school care as no one at home to take care of her. However understand from Pro-Teach that we will only know the results in Dec and it seemed chances very slim. Tried sourcing for other centres but most don’t provide transport. School bus at Hong wen also refuse to take her as we are staying at Joo Seng Road. Can anyone recommend me a after school care centre or transport services. Need help desperately!!

i went rhosody accessible via farrer park mrt for recce a few months back. It looks good to me, except that they need the kids to nap (MY child stopped napping in N2 though he is in full day cc). I had not paid a deposit, but it will be my back-up plans. Like wise my colleague was telling me there are 2 student care near potong pasir mrts. I will be checking them out if i fail to get a place in the school basc. Appreciate if you can share what u had sourced as well.

2013 P2 booklist is different from 2014 ones… Chinese txt change publishers?? even english yah…

received email from proteach on balloting for place in BASC.


anyone successfully got in? or all go through balloting?

arghh i wish they can do this much earlier to make our planning easier. most schools have already settled theirs. and those not enrolled within the school, will already get a place elsewhere.

i was quoted $220 per wk by a private basc. but they will send my kid home to sengkang each evening.

call them. i call in the morning to enquire (Without saying my child's name),, they said check email after 12pm. now is 3pm, u can call to ask. update me. i was a lil upset. i thought today we know the finalized results. arghh.. what are ur alternatives? i have no firm decision. if he cannot get in, i will have to source for one that the school bus vendor willing to send him there and it must be near MRT north east route.

I really do not wish to turn to my alternative. Which is to let her go back to her current child care as they offer student care as well. The trouble is she got to take a school bus as we are unable to pick her up to send her there everyday. I also dont feel quite safe unless i or my husband is able to do that everyday.
