No advice, but there is a lot of useful information in the ACS(I) parent’s networking group forum.

Hi, would be grateful to get some advice and views on choosing between an IP program that leads to IBDP or an IP program that leads to the GCE 'A' Levels. Thanks!

I think most of us are familiar with the A Levels system. IB is the one we need to read up on. The main IB website is at http://www.ibo.org/. Hope it helps.

I think one of the major considerations you should take into account is how 100% of the A level grade is based solely on that exam alone whereas for IB there’s a portion that is not based on the final exam alone.

Yes, I think that is a very important consideration, thanks for highlighting! I am more inclined towards the IB program. Much appreciated!

I have heard comments that thr IB isn’t as rigorous as the A levels (referring to depth of study. Any views? Thanks
