2010 P1 Registration Exercise for 2011 In-Take
-
It’s that time of the year again when parents have to worry and shortlist the schools for their little ones.
Titank,
I can safely put my daughter in CHIJ Toa Payoh under Phase 2A2.
Thanks for your precious advice.
Now is to prepare her for P1. -
IMO, parents who are registering their child this year, but only start to shortlist the schools now, are not kiasu enough .... too late for Phase 2B.

The problem is you're never 100% sure what's best for your child till the last minute. Even if you've decided on a school, after you've heard other voices from different people, you start to wonder if that was the right choice. Too many things to consider: convenience, logistics, academic records, school reputation, school culture, etc etc. Sometimes I think I might be less stressed if I were less kiasu

there is no such thing as absolute best choice. Once choice is made, be happy with it. Else, even when you child started schooling there, you will still be comparing. :celebrate:

Yes don’t worry, be happy!
-

I think we parents all are facing the same problems and stress when come to make the choice of sch…
Hi Minnie2004, I will register my boy into RVPR… -
Just saw this thread 2010 P1 Registration Exercise for 2011 In-Take and realize it started as early as Oct 2009 :!: Looks like I’m really not as Kiasu as I thought… Good Luck to all the parents with kids born in 2004!
-
Hi AlexAbi, have you done much research on RVPS? What do you think of the school? Which phase will you be registering? Seems there are much more boys than girls in this school. :?
-
Hi Concern2,
I saw the birth rate for 2004…there is a low birth rate for that year. I think and pray hard my daughter would be able to get into the school.
Mummies,
I think it’s better to check out the school culture and then shortlist. Once you have decided on the school, don’t listen to others too much or you will have more stress.
