If the child is consistent with assignments and projects, does she still hv to study till very late at home every day?

What are the school hours like for Secondary 1 classes?
8.30am-2.05pm Mon
7.30am-2.30pm Tue - Fri

In Sec 1, my dd finishes her work by 10pm and goes to bed by 11pm. Could have been earlier if not for clearing her FB and WA chats.

Or the school has any special rate for student?

My daughter is in NYGH and she says that the school places emphasis on both languages. They say the pledge and the morning announcements in Chinese every Wednesday. The school also offers a wide range of programmes and CCAs to suit each girl's needs and abilities. My girl also says that the people there are friendly and the teachers are helpful and quite deserving of respect. I personally find that the learning environment there is great and have made my daughter a better person. I was quite apprehensive at first but now I am glad that my relatives suggested sending my daughter to Nanyang.

ipad is not used in sec 1 thus not required to buy for sec 1. It will be required in sec 2.

At the end of sec 1, parents will be invited to a briefing on the use of ipad.
On the day of briefing, the vendors will be present outside the auditorium to distribute brochures.
Their prices are nearly the same except they give away different freebies.
No, the school doesn’t help us buy the ipad and there is no special rate offered through the school.
You could buy from these vendors or any other vendors such as directly through apple store.

No, Nanyang has no sports class. The sports DSA kids are mixed with the rest.
