      TheAnswer:
      I have been getting calls from DBS treasures urging me to join them. I didn't manage to talk to them much as they always call at the wrong timing.

      Anyone knows the benefits of DBS treasures?
      Treasures? Will they be giving you a map with a spot marked X to dig for treasures?

      Jokes Aside. I believe it DBS Treasures serves private banking client.

      When you visit DBS Bank, I think you have special queue to handle your banking need. They may also be serving you coffee and food too. Private Banker will be all over you trying to get you to part with your money for them to \"help you to invest\"

      Seriously, I have seen many people's investment go down the drain with the \"help\" of private banker compared to those relationship manager you see in normal bank branch.

      The only difference between the private banker investment philosophy vs the RM is the \"portfolio asset allocation\" vs the RM hit and run method.

      You can do portfolio asset allocation by yourself without \"help\" of private banker lah.

      Your bank account must have a lot of digit for them to keep calling you.

        1. complimentary DBS Treasure AMEX card;

        2. complimentary airport transfer;
        3. ang pow in a different design which you can request your RM to send to you;
        4. perform banking transactions in a more private area;
        5. access to research reports; and
        6. vouchers to birthday treats.

                In my experience, the best benefit comes from the privilege queue whenever you need to carry out banking business, otherwise, quality of RM is v average if you need to rely on them for investments.

                  Thanks for sharing. We do not need RM. Agree with you that their RM is mediocre. DBS Treasures works pretty fast, we only just transferred a lump sum from UOB into DBS. I got their call almost immediately.

                  Can anyone compare UOB privilege banking and DBS Treasures?

                    UOB offers better interest rates for their term deposit. Apart from that, almost the same though I find UOB staff more personable and turnaround time shorter. UOB Premier also has a bigger lounge area for the locations that I visit.

                    Turnover for RM at UOB, DBS and OCBC almost similarly high, don’t have any expectations of service level from them. To me, UOB Premier has the nicest design for their ang pow amongst the local banks. But not as nice as the foreign banks though.
