I am checking out school bus service.

School bus vendor says have to pay for transport fees in June and Dec even when there is no school.

I cannot understand the rationale? :?

          ImMeeMee,

Is a standard practise that the school bus providers islandwide charge a full month fee for June and Dec school holiday. The rational is, the school bus providers will not lost their income during the school holiday. I heard some providers do not charged June and Dec school holidays but they charge a higher fee during the 10 months school terms.

              Hi ImMeeMee,

Just for yr info, even for student care, we need to pay during the June & December holidays whether or not we are sending our kids there or keep them at home.

I think it makes sense that the student care teachers & staffs still need to have their income despite it's the school holidays. Hence, same applies to the school bus operators. Heart pain I know hee hee... but no choice as all need to make a living πŸ˜‰

I cannot understand this too when my boy started P1 but now used to it already .... :boogie:
