Getting CNY clothes for my 14yr DD is a headache. Neither small or big. Managed to get her a blouse from Iora (small size) and a mini-skirt from COAX. She has a mind of her own :stupid:, want to wear it with tights. (seems to be the in thing nowadays) Was quite doubtful on her choices but then, thankfully, it turns out to be quite pretty. Wanted to get her a pair of jeans, a no no from her, want shorts instead. Teenagers sure have a mind of their own whether u like it or not. I am still working on how to strike a balance with their thinking.

Like you, I also try to strike a balance with her thinking. On one end, I want her to grow up and express herself, and maybe, just maybe, on the other hand, i d-o-n-t want to let go...

BOY! Am I glad we r on the same boat. :celebrate: Let's row our \"motherly\" boat slowly to the shore with our DD. BTW - Nowadays, I will get her to follow me if I want to buy clothes for her. Usually, she will be \"glued\" at the bookstore when we r out shopping. Now - u want new clothes then tag along. I pick & choose = white elephants hanging in the cupboard.

Yes big feet then can wear adult size soon except adult designs may not be suitable. -
My DD1 is 8 but is at least 1.3m tall. We have stopped looking at the kids' section for several months already, although, luckily, the kids' shoes at Bata and Kiddy Palace still have sizes for her.
sashimi found this website http://www.jshoppers.com and we shop for clothes there when they have promotion for free shipping. He and DD1 browse through the teens' section for DD1 instead of the kids' section. They choose the smallest size. Recently, he bought some tunic dresses for her but when they arrived, they were a bit big/long, especially obvious are the sleeves so I dumped them in the dryer, and now they're the right size!
(I also got a number of tunic tops from there as well when I was pregnant last year. I matched them with maternity pants/jeans I got locally so now, I can still wear these clothes, even though I've already given birth. And no, they don't make me look fat. Neither are they shapeless.) -

As for clothes, I buy the largest (size 14) t-shirts from children’s section (no cartoony designs, Jeep has some nice designs) and S size from the adult section. Same for bottoms. -

Mine too, I think around 1.35m, catching up on me soon
I let her wear my tees (pretty new but too tight for me) since I've grown so much chubbier . Luckily at this age, she doesn't mind yet
