My DD1 is 8 but is at least 1.3m tall.

Mine too, I think around 1.35m, catching up on me soon
I let her wear my tees (pretty new but too tight for me) since I've grown so much chubbier . Luckily at this age, she doesn't mind yet šŸ˜‰

I am 1.68m and dd catch up my height when she was 12yo. Now, definately she is taller than me. šŸ˜„ .... But lucky, shorter than dh. šŸ˜„

Wah...your dd is so tall ah? My ds height is 1.58m. The girls in his P6 class last year were much taller than the boys. He was among the taller boys, but not the tallest, last year.

Looking at this forum makes me feel that I am not alone šŸ˜Ž

My P3 wears is at least 1.35mtr (we lost track) and 42kg. She wears size 37 for shoes. Buying clothes for her is a big headache. Cannot buy long pants as can fit at waist = cannot fit at length. She is a jeans (bermudas/ 3/4 jeans) lover so if I see anything nice and reasonable, I will just grab. Usually I find the biggest possible at the weight with adjustable strap. She likes those with crystal designs on the jeans 😐 Managed to find some at Pumpkin patch at good offers but not all the time.

What are the other good places to shop. Kids size don't fit her. Adult size are too long for her..... :stupid:

For my girl, these days I will buy separate top and bottom. There are some good quality jeans that still has adjustable waist. The length of the pants are longer. As she grows older, the waist still fit but the length does not, I'll go to the tailor to have the pants cut to become 3/4 pants. Match the bottom with pretty blouses. The loose ones. Can last about a year. If she wants to wear a denim skirt, once it becomes too short but the waist still fit (due to adjustable band), I just get her to add on tights. Tights with mini skirt.

Getting CNY clothes for my 14yr DD is a headache. Neither small or big. Managed to get her a blouse from Iora (small size) and a mini-skirt from COAX. She has a mind of her own , want to wear it with tights. (seems to be the in thing nowadays) Was quite doubtful on her choices but then, thankfully, it turns out to be quite pretty. Wanted to get her a pair of jeans, a no no from her, want shorts instead. Teenagers sure have a mind of their own whether u like it or not. I am still working on how to strike a balance with their thinking.[/quote]It's the fashion, short skirt with quarter black legging. Buy a sleeveless tops & a cardigan. Can be mix & match.

There are some shorts that can be a bermuda and fold it up can be a short. Two style for different occasion.

My 13 yo dd also has big feet, size 42. She's only about 1.62 whereas I'm 1.68 and shoe size 41. How to buy shoes since most shoe sizes end in size 41. Big headache. If she grows any taller, her feet is definitely going to be bigger, maybe must buy men's shoes. 😢

Yes..... I actually bought her a size 36 shoe for CNY at BHG on sunday... She can't squeeze in and had to settle for 37.

Actually i am wearing size 38 which is on the big side too. But I think she might be even bigger than me.....

                    Definately she is.

I notice that daughters would be taller than mum and feet size bigger than mum. BUT not taller than dad.

For sons, they would be taller than dad and feet size bigger than dad. šŸ˜Ž

Haha.... I think it depends on the dad's height. Some men are shorter than their wives.

Do they stop growing at P6? My Sec 3 niece seems to have stop growing taller. She is still shorter than me. I am 1.62. My sil is short while my bil is around my height.

My kids are indeed catching up and they will definitely be taller than me. Next time, they will \"look down on\" me.

I read somewhere. Girls stop gaining height a year after they start menses.
