Hi, my girl was not successful in her P1 admission to Pei Hwa. We placed her on waiting list but she really has bad luck on her side. Her friend who stayed far away got in instead. Does anyone know the criteria for the waiting list? thanks.

Is your child’s friend parents a member of any Presbyterian church ?

Go call the school to speak with the person in charge of P1 admission. -
Red0088,
Would like to let you know PH is not the only good sch.
Parental support can do more for the child. Continue to instill the passion for learning, your child will do well in any sch.
All the best to you. -

Pls don't think that your dd has bad luck even if she didn't manage to secure a place. You'll never know, maybe she'll excel in her current (allocated) sch and exceed your expectation in PSLE.

Thanks all… I did call school and ask them for the criteria and they were very vague. .anyway I’ll still try and put dd on the waiting list…

Another few days to sch re-opening.
A friendly advice to:
All P5 going to P6: the sch might not pile the students with tons of worksheets as it believes in quality over quantity. Well, this approach works for some, does not work for others. So, exercise your own discretion.
New P1: revise at least once a week, to clear up whatever missed in class due to inattentiveness or simply catch no ball.
Be consistent in revision n be attentive in class.
All the best to all PH pupils. -
