I am interested in finding out more about the syllabus for Secondary 2 Mathematics in RI. Anyone has any information to share? Thanks in advance.

Did you check your ds' boarding schedule? Mine's during the 2nd Term. That'll give us some time to prepare.

Also, OBS is during the 2nd week I think, according to ds. He's not too sure too.

OBS is from 6th to 10th.. my DS boarding in term 1 starts from 12 Jan... He needs to board again in term3.Going to miss him :nailbite:

why he got to board 2 times? :? I read the OBS slide that the parents supposed to check in with the kid and sit for the briefing? But the one on 12 Jan is only for those boarding in term 1 right? So they will repeat the briefing every term for the new batch coming in?

Math - Algebraic expansion & factorisation I and II, Algebraic equations, Trigonometrical ratios,graphs I - Linear and quadratic. set theory,algebraic expressions II (laws of indices), mensuration, similarity and congruency. not sure if ds misses anything out...

DS' boarding is not in Term-1 too.. DS is happy coz he says Term-2 & Term-3 boarding is 10-weeks, whereas Term-1 boarding is 9-weeks only (minus 1 week at OBS)..

Yes, OBS is in week-1 (6-10 Jan).. 2nd & 3rd Jan is in week-0 of Term-1 next year.. Have you packed the items for OBS ? I have not..

Hi RI ks parents here,

Glad to find this thread ... Just completed my DS registration at RI on Mon and brought him to practice taking public transport between Sch and home.
I was impressed with the organization of the registration, the participation of senior rafflesians.

RI is totally new to me, will be visiting this thread to learn new things about RI Sch life. Already read some good advices from past posts.
