The school has not accepted any appeals from within the non-IP students. I had checked and they said no appeals to IP. So would the boys be given a choice when school re-opens ?
Quite likely those who are appealing from within (i.e. those already in the non-IP express classes with a preference for an IP express course) will fill the places first.confusedmom12:
Any news of appeals to ACSI being successful? Noticing many top tier schools going 2 - 3 points below COPs taking in appeals. Wonder how this ripples down to ACSI. Anybody has news ?
I understand the 'published' COP will not be changed and no such official thing as 'below COP'.
I was inquiring if anyone appealed and got into ACSI - IB. This year many appeals have been successful in top schools. There must be movement out of ACSI (IB) too. So, in turn these ACSI seats would be filled by appeals or by students in their ACSI O level stream who may be interested or how ? -

Well, that's the answer, or THE answer, depending on who answered your call. If the classes are full, they're full. But a lot depends on whether the classes are indeed full... -

Arrgggg - this is so frustrating. Yes - how to know if classes are indeed full :nailbite: :stupid: :stompfeet: There are different people who answer the calls and you do not know how much they really know too.confusedmom12:

We appealed (my child is not posted to ACSI, express), still have not received any reply. Likely no chance. Tmr is the official last day of replying appeal applns.

All the best. I have not read anyone saying their appeal was successful to ACSI in KSP. Maybe they will call you on Monday. :xedfingers: -

Hello guys,
I am a IP student currently going on to Year 4 next year. I am not exactly a huge fan of the IB programme (dont ask me why i just dont like it). I would rather take the a levels instead. So I am planning to go to RJC/NJC etc for JC1. So my question is, is it possible for a IP student to change school at JC1? (I was not DSAed to ACSI) Also, will i be disadvantaged in the application process since I am in the IP stream? I scored pretty well this year with a overall of more 40 points but lesser than 43 points (sorry dont want to tell my exact score since some might figure out who I am) and was also in the top 10% of the cohort and top 10 in my class. (which I consider an achievement given that most people in my class are GEP geniuses). So what are my chances in getting to JCs? Does anyone know of people who have made this switch? What are my chances of doing so? Any help would be greatly appreciated -

I know of a friend's daughter who switched from RGS to ACSI at year 5, think it's something like DSA.Hello guys,

So there should be similar path the other way round.
You probably need to DSA into the JC that you like. -
Happy New Year to all!! Excited about a new beginning at ACSI. Good luck to all students and parents :rahrah: .
