Thought they're not supposed to go in the laundry as they would turn rusty? That's what the lady selling the uniforms said.

There are many parents who do sew it to the button holes so no need to do it up all the time. Not much rusting.

Another way is to sew a button at the end of the \"metal\" button so that it slips easily through the buttonhole so it's easy to put on and off.

If you prefer doing it the traditional way, then just throw all the shirts to your boys after it is out from being laundered and ask them to put in all the buttons ... then Iron them.

Thanks phankao! I will let him try it out & see if he passes the 1-min test after 1 week! šŸ˜‰

Anyway, for Sec 1 boys, only wear PE for 2 weeks.

Just attached four of the buttons on the school uniform. Took me ages & felt like tearing my hair out!! Can't imagine doing this a few times a week, SEVEN buttons each time! Is there a quick & simple way to do it? :scared:

Were you aware of this \"removable buttons\" thingy, before your DS joins CHS ? If you had known, would you have let him choose CHS ?

            Just curious.. šŸ˜‰

No I wasn't aware before, but it wouldn't have changed our decision. There are many more important factors than 7 buttons! šŸ˜„

Hi, laptop is not absolutely necessary but it'd be useful for project work. For Maths, worksheets will be provided. šŸ˜„
