wonder mom:
In the time table, I can see 'Mentoring without teacher', 'Assembly without teacher', 'CCA without teacher', 'ACE without teacher'. What will the children do during these time?
Mentor reps (class reps), students leaders, CCA leaders, subject leaders etc are in charge !! Perhaps year 1 students may be at lost what to do. BY Y2 most students would love these periods where they catch up ..with group projects ..assignment ..discussion ..In NUSH unless you are a very slack .. you would't complain too much ..when have free time without teachers around .. -

There usually is a teacher (the mentor, which is the \"form teacher\") during mentoring. Assembly only happens once every few weeks or so, and the time would be absorbed into CCA time (if the CCA has a Monday session) in weeks without assembly. ACE, too is usually conducted by the mentor. Sometimes it's a mass session.
As for CCA it really depends. It could be conducted either by the teachers, coach or seniors supervised by teachers. -
thanks matadorepy , Artume.

Actually 1 girl got accepted too but I heard that she opted for RGS in the end. Not sure about the COP as this is not mentioned by NUSH. Can only guess from the posts of other parents here. I read somewhere in KSP that one child has to go through interview even tho got 260 in PSLE.

[/quote]The person who got 260 and needed an interview did not get A* for Science, so he needed an interview. Someone got 259 and went in without interview. I know someone who got 249 and still got in, but with interview.
wow, that was high.....thank for your info.....dyh:
