I passed by a coffee shop at the junction of Upper Serangoon and Simon Road just now and New Eastern has a franchise there, at the moment is $38 per kilo. -

Interestingly, buying bak kwa is never my priority for CNY. I always get to eat what others queue up to buy leh. :lol:

Then why pay CNY prices n lower quality at this time so more?
u can keep bak kwa in the fridge to maintain its 'freshness';
heat up only when u want to eat it.
In my experience,
BCH keeps longer this way.
LCG doesn't keep as well after ~7 - 12 days - its quality deteriorates after that. -
If no queue, I will buy. If long queue, I won’t buy.
