Rgs is not a full school.

The principal(s) of Rgps and rgs secondary, are different.
The location of Rgps and rgs are also different.

If you had studied in rgs secondary before, but not from Rgps, unfortunately, there is no p1 registration priority for your Daughter.
However, you may apply to join rgps as a parent volunteer.
If selected, you may join us, under phase 2b.

Rgps is also not affliated to rgs secondary.
To enter rgs secondary, entry is based on merit / Psle t-score able to meet the cut off point -
Together with rest of the girls, from all other neighborhood schools in sg.

There are only 5 full schools.
To be a full school -
the principal handling both the primary & secondary school’s section(s), have to be the same. They are :-
      Catholic high primary
      Chij st Nicholas primary

      Maris stella primary

      Mgs
      Scgs

Finally! Orientation day for our P1 dd!!

            Hohoho, excited hor 🙂

Can ask your girl write into a diary -
Her experience of p1 orientation, in school 🙂

Just now, when walking around premises, noticed that :-
Classroom (1a and 1i) are side by side together,
Classroom (1b and 1c) next to each other,

Classroom (1d and 1e) side by side, a bit remote
Classroom 1f, (1g and 1h) over the other side.

Gate 3 is the nearest entrance gate, to all the p1 classroom.
Not gate 1 (foyer) - because quite far from the p1 classroom.

            Gate 3 opening hours:-
            http://www.rgps.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=49547

Outside entrance of classroom 1a -
There are some big, big steps.
saw some girls playing hoppity hop, on the big steps

            Behind classroom (1d and 1e) -
Saw some container classroom, air con.

            P1 and p3 share classroom.
            Example
P1a share same classroom with p3a
P1b share same classroom with p3b

Thus, not advisable for p1 to put textbooks into a big basket, under each table.
Because p3 girls will be using the same table, in the morning session.

The field (big, open space) next to canteen is very large.

Campus quite big p1 classrooms & furniture all quite old without aircon.
Is nearer for me to pick her from gate 3 in the evening.
Btw, which class is your dd in?
Next challenge for my dd is to eat within the allocated time during recess.

I m thinking of which gate too

Gate 3 means I must park at multi storey carpark and walk to the gate?
                It’s not drive through right?

Pick at gate 3 will be earlier & faster. As for Gate 1, you must wait for sch bus to clear b4 u can drive in
