I tried their white and black chicken rice for the first time yesterday, overall I find their chicken rice flavourful. Must try there is their fried tofu dish ($3), they prepare and fry the tofu only when you order, so it is hot and tasty :celebrate:
Are you working ard that area?

tankee:
Hahaha there is a reason why it is more flavourful mah... anyway once awhile good to try both. I actually have both BTK and 5* just 5 min walk from my home... but so far hardly go there cos usually drive out either to Bt Merah Central or Henderson Hawker ... for the more conventional hawker fare.ZacK:
.... Between Boon Tong Kee and Five Star Chicken... I prefer the latter, cos the rice is less oily...
I'm opposite. I prefer Boon Tong Kee's rice over Five Star Chicken. Boon Tong Kee's rice has more flavour. -
tankee:
I am with tankee, I also prefer Boon Tong Kee. 5star chicken is not smooth enough ....very tough meat ...ZacK:

Wendy's fastfood outlet is also at Lau Pa Sat.. Right now LPS is the only outlet after Kopitiam Group brought it back to Singapore. So you can have an option for your lunch tomorrow

That is why I don't like kampung chicken when eating hailamnese chicken rice, thus I don't like 5 star.
