The little rings for the buttons turn rusty quite easily. The school bookshop does not sell just the rings. Where can we buy the rings? Popular? Or is there any alternative which may make the daily buttoning easier? I donβt intend to sew the buttons on the shirts. TIA.

If brush the rings with clear nail polish, will the ring get sticked tge? -

Maybe they sell those rings at either art and craft shops or the beach road hawker center where they sell army stuff. I think those rings are use in some uniforms. -

If you remove the ring before washing the uniform it will not rust. DS worn the uniform for a year and the rings have not rust. If you want to buy spare rings, they are sold in Popular bookshop. -

So far no lessons these 2 days in school for the year One. I wondered when will the CCA starts? My ds is in Ortus

I read in last year's posts about remedial lessons for Sec 1.
How do teachers decide on who needs remedial lessons? Is it determined after a test for each subject? Can one attend the remedial class even if he isn't asked to join?
When do remedial classes commence?
Which day is it normally scheduled on?
Where can parents access details on these classes? I'm just pre-empting possibility that my DS doesn't inform me or may be too blur and miss this info.
The Sec 1 has no lessons yet but I'm worried about the impending stress and fast pace of the lessons. TIA. :nailbite: :yikes:
