      Hi JJ1111,

Which OG is your child in? Mine is in OG1. I think he’s feeling a bit overwhelmed. So many girls. I’m surprised at the large number of girls in JH1. Boys are a minority. Has it always been like this for the JH intake?

Mine is OG7. Yap alot of girls. My girl groups majority are girls. Think only 2 or 3 boys only. The boys will be \"POPULAR\" in NJC. :siam:

πŸ˜„ A big change for him, from being the majority (mostly boys in his P6 class) to the minority (mostly girls in NJ).

Yap, NJC Junior High has a high population of girls πŸ˜‚

not sure about the ratio at Senior High after the intake of O lvl candidates.

There will be more boys at JC level. But in individual classes, might depends on subject combination ? Bc combinations like bio/chem or mainly humanities will still tend to have more girls.

I think the IP students stick to their own IP classes .

Elder boy told me there will be orientation program to welcome the O lvl candidates n existing IP students are to participate.

His timetable is out. His Physics class has < 10 students now. Many empty slots in between due to no Chinese lessons. Thur lesson starts at 10am.

Ytd supposed to hv Project Work (PW) slots. But was not conducted due to O lvl candidates not reported yet. I suppose both groups are combined for some lessons?

Should be combined. Bc even in their current classes, the students are not all taking the same combinations. I'm not sure if the classes for the O-level intake will be similarly mixed.

Checking in with DS started JH1 yesterday! Was touched by the welcome from the seniors when we entered the staircase with upbeat music and cheers - made the JH1s (and their parents) felt like rock stars!

DS' OG has 4 boys and 16 girls..yes there'll be lots of attention for the boys πŸ†’ He mentioned everyone was like one big family.
