If she doesn't mind, OBS has this shoe rack of donated old shoes-she can wear those! It's basically like shoes that previous campers wore and decided to donate after. I have a few friends who donated their shoes after OBS-they intended to throw them away anyway, but they are still in good condition, so they left it there.
Thanks for the info. Anyway, we just went out and bought the cheapest pair of laced shoes we could find! Her feet are on the big side, so she might not find anything her size among the donated shoes. Well, if this pair of shoes is still in decent condition, she can bring them home and use them for other camps in future. She was grumbling about how much shopping needs to be done for OBS - and I've actually done a lot of it for her!slmkhoo:
Are the shoes like those slip-on kinds? I don't think it will be sufficient-because lots of sand and pebbles etc get into your shoes.
Oh dear, will check with her. I hate to have to buy a new pair of shoes just for this purpose! I expect they won't be very usable after. -
We have received the end-of-year report and would like to know whether there is any school folder to file all the loose pieces since the teacher will not be collecting back the report? I remember that we did not purchase any school folder for it.
Can any experience senior or parents advise? -

Did they stop giving it out? I think because of RGS 1:1, the school actually wanted to stop printing the result slips. Maybe that is why they didn't prepare a folder, or will it come later? We have received the end-of-year report and would like to know whether there is any school folder to file all the loose pieces since the teacher will not be collecting back the report? My batch has 1 though! We were the last batch before 1:1, so we received it in year 1. -

We did not receive any folder and when I ask my gal, she was like \"I have no idea\". She just asked me to keep the loose pieces of end-of-year report. If I'm not wrong, other school does require the student to buy a report book or folder. That's why I am quite clueless of what to do with the report since this is out first time collecting loose pieces report.

We have a letter in our Orientation pack that states that the RGS kit which we will receive during Orientation will contain, amongst other things like the school badge etc, a Report Folder which will be kept by the Form Teacher. Therefore, the school should still be handing them out. -

That was the same question I asked DD. She said no special folder. So I guess I'll just have to buy a clear folder from outside. We have received the end-of-year report and would like to know whether there is any school folder to file all the loose pieces since the teacher will not be collecting back the report? Maybe the folders are out of stock. Have the girls ask the teachers.
