Actually depends not all agencies except post dated cheques,unless the agency is nice enuf to give you special arrangement lot …
if you have lots of patience then take a fresh maid at least they can listen..no off day also ok ,but if you no patient then don't try,just take experience one…..myanmar oh godd ,,they can't talk .trust me it can be frustrating if you and your maid cannot communicate.. -
Anyone tried Eamos Employment Service at Upper Serangoon before? Was planning to get a Indo maid from them.

Can i check if it is a must/normal practice for employers to pay yearly bonus to maid year end? This is a 1 year maid with us…So far, i only pay 2 weeks pay and airfare(in cash) to my previous maids (after 2 years contract) if they do not go back for home leave…
Want to check about yearly bonus… Can someone advise me the normal or usual practices??

Yearly bonus is given out of goodwill. Contract only states that we have to give 2 weeks paid leave and a flight ticket home upon completion of 2 years contract. 1. Is it common for a few agencies to share a same pool of maids’ database (biodata)?
2. My new agents says that her ex-sin Indo maid only needs 5 working days to come Singapore while most of my fren say need to wait like 4-6 weeks. Reason given by agent is that they have their own training centre. How true is this? -
please don’t spoil market by paying year end bonuses leh.

I agree with sailor. Best to give RP than bonus. When maids meet n chat, they will definitely compare notes and soon every maid will want a bonus too.

Mine made it in less then 5 days but thats cos she already hv her passport. Most agents quote one month but they normally come in earlier. I dont see the relation with \"own training centre.\" I notice agents love using this line for question they dont want to answer, all maids come frm some training centre. I think if te maid hv her passport, they can bring them in on social visit pass, then convert later..
I had a mynmar previously and I confirmed her on a monday and she came in on wednesday. Fastest i ever came across.

Myanmar girls have no training centre, anyone can be an agent there, I know of a full time maid here who freelances as an agent,she told me that the girls who want to go Singapore, they will keep the girl at her house, and her mother will show a bit of housework etc.. then girl does passport, and girl flies in ….thats why agency fee is low,, later employer pay lower but get higher high blood pressure hahhaha..everything need to teach..
Its not surprising that some agencies the girls come faster,,maybe smart girls.. from what i heard with one of my friend working in far east agency she said… they can \" buy time \" by giving under table money ..dont know la so complicating …money does wonders in indonesia it seems so girl can come faster..but normally the ex singapore maids can fly in very fast ..my own maid came within a week..when i ask the maid why other maids with her wait 3-4 weeks do what ,,she said nothing ,just sit n wait :nail bite:
Honestly i also don't care as long as my maid comes in fast and can work well. What method they use to come in .i don't want to know
