Yesterday morning was raining, saw student council members holding extra umbrellas at 158 bus stop to give to students who did not have umbrella to walk to school. Nice touch!

Zae...nice to read yr positive feedback fr DHS juz after 1st day of yr DD there...
I believe she 'll like her sch, her frens and teachers ( ok, maybe not all, but certainly some of them šŸ˜‰ )
More n more as she goes by....

My gal has made some great frens here...
i believe these are the frens whom she will still be closed to...even after she graduates fr DHS.... šŸ˜„
So nice to know about this.
Today is their \"last day\" of orientation and they prepared a thank you card for the council members. :salute:

            To all concerned mums here,

My girl is in year 3 now, she absolutely love DHS and is enjoying her time and friends she made.

DHS has great teachers and pupils, so no worries, your kids are in good hands!

Augmum, you are right. My DD talked nonstop about her orientation once she hopped into the car. šŸ•ŗ

But its not so bad for Y1. Schoolwork is still manageable once they settle down n get the hang of what the school expects from them.

My dd was actually 'playing' in Y1 n got frightened when she saw her EOY results. Then she woke up n decide to work hard. šŸ˜„

But in Y5 onwards, its no more fun. Its hardwork. :scared:

My dd is in SH so her combi is different from JH. She is taking Hybrid Combi.
