The school January notification did not give details of P3 camp (which is scheduled on 23-24 Jan 2014 according to RMPS calendar of events), does this means that the overnight camp is being abolished? Or will there be a separate collateral just for P3 parents? :scratchhead:

Any parents can share their experience for last year? Thanks.

Unlikely it will be abolished. There will be a camp briefing for all the students nearer the date. Students will then be given a packing list.

Students will sleep in the school. Some of the day activities will take place outside the school, though.

Seem like the P1 & P2 have nothing to eat when they are being dismiss at 1.30pm & wait for the school bus to depart at 2pm together with the upper primary. 🤷

Where do the students wait at 1.30 pm? If it is at the foyer, perhaps parents can give their children some biscuits? Not advisable to allow the students to buy food from the canteen as it will likely cause more delay.

Children use to wait at the foyer, now I heard at the library.Still not allowed to eat. My kid comes home at 2.50pm starving everyday.

Any idea what will be presented during the parent’s briefing in Feb other than meeting the form teacher/principal? Also, my gal has been complaining about the lack of food in canteen…her favourite stall that sells western is closed for good?

Yesterday my DS told me that they were asked to stay in library to wait for the school bus, and not allowed to touch any books even reading books r not allowed. 😞

Let kids bring some food, bread etc, my DS reachs home 3pm every day, the canteen is closed after 1:30pm.

What time does your child break for recess?

I think you need to feedback to the school regarding this. In fact, if more P1/P2 parents raise their concerns, the school will more likely take action, right?

The principal will probably talk about the general performance of the school's PSLE results last year and the overall focus of the school in terms of their programs, etc.

The form teacher will talk about the marks allocation for the subjects. This is an ideal platform for parents to meet up with the various subject teachers, since the school has done away with 1-to-1 PTM. However, the school (somehow) \"forgets\" to ensure that all subject teachers are available on that day. So, it depends on your luck whether you are able to get as much information as you want on that day.
