VSK.. Your DS is going home by himself too ? It's a long journey for him. Hope he doesn't fall asleep on the bus/MRT..

i don't know frankly. Are the boys supposed to go back to RI then go back from there? I only know they're dismissed at 4pm.

Yes, the boys were sent back to RI (in buses) and they were dismissed from RI.

Ds is feeling a little better. But just now he was in great pain (his stomach hurt). Had diarrhoea. Wonder what he ate?! must be contaminated food.

Had to keep up to 1am to wake him to take the last dose of medicine tonite.

And yes......I unpacked his dirty clothes -much as I dreaded to...I had to do it 2nite - otherwise can't sleep. Really stinky hor. I put alot alot of anti bacteria soap powder. But put inside a pail separate from all my laundry to soak first. Tmr then wash.

                whew....what a night! :faint:

VSK.. Is your boy feeling better today?

DS says all the food they ate at the camp were cooked by themselves. The boys had breakfast & lunch there before heading home yesterday. Maybe your boy did not cook the food thoroughly, coz they were in a rush to pack up for dismissal from the camp.

Did your boy get sunburn ? When my boy came home yesterday, his face ็บข็บข็š„ใ€‚Today abit ้ป‘้ป‘็š„ใ€‚No longer ็™ฝ็™ฝ็š„, like he used to be.. He looks more \"macho\" now (especially with numerous cuts on his hands & legs).. ๐Ÿ˜†

The Investiture was really impressive. :salute:

My eyes were wet during the teachers' procession. I feel so proud that DS is part of Rafflesian family. The procession was so grand. It is like in Harry Potter movie although the number of teachers is much much more (I counted there were about 90-100 teachers).

The reply from the boys after Mr Ngoh addressed them as \"Young Rafflesians\" was memorable. The cheers were heart warming. The confetti was a very nice touch to end the investiture. The buffet dinner after that was very well thought because it allows us to mingle among parents and talked to the teachers.

From the orientation camp and the investiture, I can feel that RI is also teaching other values and not only academics. I feel so blessed that DS will be in RI for the next 6 years.
