Nevertheless, he's made it to NJC, just like all the kids who made it to NJC too.

When elder boy was in pri 3, there was a classmate with a behavorial prob.

She would make some noise, drag her chair or walk around the classroom.

But when the teacher posed her a question, she could give a correct answer.

The classmates also got used to her antics and would leave her alone when she acted up.

My 2nd boy is diagnosed to be mildly hyperactive. He takes 2 capsules of fish oil in the morning before leaving for school.

All his teachers reported a better behaved child after we started him on fish oil.

Jennyflower, pls share what you mean.

My son in fact displays mildly some autistic behavior at times. But as he is doing well in school and coping, teachers and counsellors say to let him be since he is coping well. Counsellors and doctors say that \"smart\" kids sometimes display a second exception, eg hyperactive, autism etc. they call it double exception.

When he was in JH1, one teacher say he was disruptive as he asked too many questions....actually, she doesn't have answers to all his questions :rotflmao: We have spoken to him and he now restraint himself more. No complains from any more teachers since.

Sec school is a new environment for the kids. NJ even more diff from the other secondary schools. So maybe the new JH1 kids just need a little more time to adjust.

But if you have concerns, speak to the teacher.

The saying \"fish is good for the brain\", is not false. Skewing a little off-topic, my dd has been eating \"oily\" fish (salmon and cod) since a toddler, and also takes fish oil supplements, does help in a child's development - wonders! 😄

I think the café CCA is for a few weeks?

Was she feeling well this morning before going to school?

Most fish oil capsules do not hv bad smell. Just swallow with some water.

I thought the choir room has air con. Maybe she is already unwell that's why she felt dizzy. JH1 no CCA right? It's Cafe. They try the various CCAs for a few weeks and only term 4 then choose the one they like. CCA choice only finalized in JH2.
