BigDevil:
BigD, thanks for highlighting.P5 camp is next week 22 - 24 Jan.
What we didn't like about this camp are
1) It's too close to CNY! Heard from DD that they always have a few
kids falling sick during past years' camp. Falling sick now would certainly
put a damper on CNY celebration.
2) They only gave us the things-to-bring list yesterday!
They have this camp every year, so why can't they give us the list
earlier? Now we only have one weekend to get everything ready.
So parents of P4 students, click on the link to see the list of items.
Do prepare for them during the year end holidays.

Does any of the parents know - if DD joins CCA training group now then does it mean this will become a "confirmed" CCA when DD is P4 and not have an option of choice shld another interest/talent get discovered when DD is older? Just wondering if you get "locked in" for 6 yrs machiam like signing up 6 yr contract (I presume everyone only meant to signup for 1 CCA only come P4-6)
Thanks! -
Does anyone know which are the P5 HA classes?

DD came back with an envelope for placing order for certain SPH publications (Thumbs Up, Little Red Dot, etc). However, there isn’t any accompanying note to indicate how much to pay. Does anyone have this information? Are we able to order more than one publications?

Hi, Busymom,
DS asked us to either pay by cash or cheque of amt.$16 made payable to SPH.
(for order of Thumbs up). We just filled up the details on the envelope . No accompanying notes.
Since it was from MT teacher, we dare not put other orders. Scare of scolding by the MT teacher. :nailbite: DS said quite fierce.
Hope my reply not too late. -
Maple leaf:
Yup. and DS specifically say ONLY Big Thumbs Up - the others all cannot (so no need to have roving eye).Busymom:

You're allowed to change to another CCA. However,Does any of the parents know - if DD joins CCA training group now then does it mean this will become a \"confirmed\" CCA when DD is P4 and not have an option of choice shld another interest/talent get discovered when DD is older? Just wondering if you get \"locked in\" for 6 yrs machiam like signing up 6 yr contract (I presume everyone only meant to signup for 1 CCA only come P4-6)
Thanks!
if the child is performing very well in that CCA since P1/2 or 3,
the coach might not want you to leave for another and he/she will try to persuade the child/parents to stay. -
Does anyone has experience with tennis as CCA? Must be selected or go trial at P4 etc? Grateful for advice.
