Carebear, my problem is my house very small lah. If she cleans only 1 room 1 day, i think she can finish in 30minutes. Maybe if not clean enough, I'll tell her to clean again tomorrow. When I do that, I really feel like a slave driver. Aiyo!! Now if she cleans windows, I ask her to clean inside for the whole house. I even asked her to clean all the switches in the whole house. I thought it sounds really stupid but I don't have much choice. I worry she's so free that she will think and think till she gets depression and then jump off!!?? :!:
Ha...I like your sewing ideas but I don't have sewing machine. Also, bakes cakes and cookies will need time to train her.
Do you all think I should get her a radio? A handphone?
If so, you can buy her books on baking.

If after working for you for sometime, you feel she is good, then you get her one, but also must have rules regarding usage, eg only to use it after she has completed her chores.
My maid carries a handphone whenever she goes to pick my kids so that she is contactable all the time. I made it clear that the handphone is for official use only. -

As usual, classic case of grass greener on the other side. There are those who pray and pray they don't have to slog until late at night and wake up early in the predawn hours. Me thinks you should work on brain washing her....let her know what the other side's life is like.
Isn't having the whole house to yourself with no one to breathe down your neck, a dream for all maids?? At night also no need to wake up to make milk or look after baby since my gal already in primary school.peapot:

After some time, they will give up and use hands to wash. You need to clean the dishes properly b4 putting them into the dishwasher anyway. All my maids ended up not using the dishwasher.

Now that I have no maid, I am using it, mainly because I can't stand dirty dishes hanging everywhere, and the dishwasher dries the dishes, which saves me lots of time. -

U must be using an old model. The latest models only require large pieces of food to be disposed before putting the dishes in. No pre-washing or rinsing is required. -
