Do you think it is worth taking DS to watch the NAFA SYT Music competition? I friend suggested it. -

Fall sleep??? Oh dear, then it's a really BAD idea. Wonder why my friend even suggested it. -

I'm sure the winners are worth listening to. Hmm...but will have to watch prize presentation also right?fifiyeo:

It's always good to bring kids to see excellent performances; it can be a powerful motivational tool. But must see also what kind of program being performed also lar. Children normally prefer more tuneful and simpler pieces; so bringing them to a concert full of long complex pieces such as Beethoven's Sonatas may make them feel bored instead. Perhaps can watch the winners for around 15-20 minutes and then quietly exit through the side doors during the pauses between items?

I remember wanting to watch this last year. Until I found out from the lady in charge that there were no Erhu performers and I was wondering why. Then I realised that this competition is for the finalists of the previous year's nationals and NAFA had no finalists.

So this competition for SYF NAFA will not be too long, I think. Only the finalists?
