Oops! I mean \"My Pals are here\" is Maths txt. And they used the HOMEWORK activity book which is not available in Popular.

STELLAR is used in school. They used a Grammar Handbook and wordbank book in class.

You can go to Pacificonlime bookstore to search for the P1 booklist. 😄

literature wise, have to understand the olden type of English...last year, his lit title was 'sing to the dawn'. this year, 'an inspector calls'.

geography is ever changing...requires calculations of mortal rate etc etc.

history is easier because dates are fixed...also because answering the questions is somewhat related to English as inference skill is required.
Sounds cheem. Will cross the bridge when we reach it. :thankyou:

Was CA1 Eng difficult? My son said that it was. Hopefully still can maintain B1.

DS said editing n comprehension oe parts are tricky. Will see when paper is returned.

Dear parents, for P4 CA1, there will be 汉语拼音 (5题10分)。

Can any parents kindly post last year CA1 paper or advise what types of 汉语拼音 题目 e.g. 拼音下填汉字 or 汉字上面注拼音?

              Thanks a lot!

Hi, can anyone share any info on the P3 Chinese language & Culture Camp?

this year supposed to be on 17th and 18th March, during 1 week school holiday…

Actually we have planned something for that 2 days already, thus wondering whether worth spending the time to go for the camp or is it ok to skip it??

Is it a day camp?? until what time for both days usually?

                Thanks!!

                  Hi cool_hi

It's a day camp from around 9am-5pm (or ends earlier 4pm can't really recall)for 2 days. It is not compulsory. They will engage in activities on chinese arts appreciation ie tongue twister, poetry, puppet making, chinese tea appreciation n think painting/calligraphy. Seemed quite interesting. My ds went for the camp. He enjoyed it.
