If your child is in P1 taking school bus, must teach your child how to stand up for herself on bus. Some P2 girls will "bully" the P1 girls. I should say some P2 girls can be "si bei kuai lan".

Girls tend to use speech and tone of voice to "bully". They do not use physical force. The speech and tone is enough. Just teach our P1 dd to counter attack the way the P2 girls who say their words without filtering through the brain.

Parents should spend time to talk with their children everyday to find out what happens in school. There is a lot of things that our dd knows but they are still at the innocent stage, not realizing that they are verbally being abused.

Even my dd tells me that if the girls do not tuck in their T-Shirts, teachers will make them stay back in class during recess. I told my dd if ever any teacher were to ask u to stay back in class, make sure you know his/her name and face. The girls only have recess time to eat and rest and if their teachers ask them to stay back in class during recess, how will they have enough time to eat?

Surprisingly, if you know how to prompt a child, the child can tell you many things that is happening in the school. Pri 1 girls are definitely not dumb, they are aware of what is going on.

Any parents to advise what to expect on Thursday,30/1/2014 (CNY eve) for the school celebration? There is a letter that states the celebration is combined for both sessions and held from 7.15am to 10am.

How is the bus driver going to arrange the logistic? Afternoon session girls will have to wake up 5 something to board the 6 something morning bus. Can parents of dd in higher levels share what can we expect to happen on that day?

Our gal will not be allowed to join in the briefing. They will be asked to wait at the foyer, canteen or library.

Both sessions students will be taking the same bus to and back from school. It will be very packed. Thus, usually it will takes a longer time to reach home.
