I thought the choir room has air con. Maybe she is already unwell that's why she felt dizzy. JH1 no CCA right? It's Cafe. They try the various CCAs for a few weeks and only term 4 then choose the one they like. CCA choice only finalized in JH2. -

Hope your dd has recovered from the fever. -
May I know whether is it compulsory to sell all the tickets issued to the students?
Who do you all sell the tickets to? Relatives? Friends? Will they purchase from your child? Or you will buy ALL the tickets yourself?
I find it awkward when my dd told me that she want to sell it to my relative during Chinese New Year. I doubt they will be interested to go all the way to NJC for the funfair. Is it ok to ask them to purchase during CNY?

It is alright to return unused tickets.
The event is meaningful as it is put up by the students.
By chance you know anyone with children in P5/P6 who are interested to get to know the sch better? -
Hi phankao
I know you have a kid in the Music Programme in NJC. May I know whether the kids can play any instrument of their choice - or does it need to be a string instrument or piano?
Also - can the students in the Music Programme join the symphonic band as a CCA - or is it typically not advised due to time commitments.
Greatly appreciate your response - thanks in advance. -
I cannot believe what i just heard. My dd’s form teacher in one month already call me saying that she sleep in class and never pay attention.

Thank you for your response. Actually she is only in P5 ..... maybe I am a bit too kiasu - but was thinking of positioning for DSA application, which schools to shortlist as we do not want to do many. (Not a GEP kid

). She loves music - so looking for schools with a Music Programme.
Does your DD like the Music Programme? What is her CCA? What does she play. My question was more if can a student do both band and Music Programme as I thought it might be too much time commitment.
Thank you again -

Thank you again[/quote]Of course this is NJC here
most programs are interesting. Her CCA is choir and unless she really loves to sing don't join it. My dd always complain leg pain after choir. She plays the piano :). Honestly it depends on whether she can manage her work well and if she's interested in both. If shes interested in it she will definitely try harder
