Mr lim is a maths tutor, he has some students from Springdale primary school.

He is trying to show that when a child come to upper primary p5/p6:-
Child need to work hard, in order to get a good Psle t-score.

                Example

If a p6 child aim to enter the secondary 1 \"integrated programme\", instead of gce o level track :-
On average, for the 4 subjects (English, maths, science, mother tongue) -
Child Need to attain minimum 85 marks, before can reach cut off point 255 (as an example)

mr lim had supplied the formula :-

                0.75 x (85 + 85 + 85 + 85) = 0.75 x 340 =
can reach lowest 255 cut off point, for most \"integrated programme\" secondary school curriculum.

                Band 1 : 85 and above

                Band 2 : 70 to 84

                Band 3 : 50 to 69

Band 4 : less than 50 marks (failed in this subject)

But if your child is now primary 1 -
                won't apply
Until your child next time reach upper primary (p5 / p6), preparing for Psle.

The memo for Term 2 enrichment has been issued.

However no arrangements for school bus stated.

ya, the school doesn’t stated anything about that.

It’s really sad to know the school isn’t concern about this at all.

                      Hi,

I realised there is a previous teacher’s daughter always given a chance to perform in every school events. I believe your child might know the person. From what I know, she is a daughter of a ex-teacher. Happened to be same class as my daughter. Always selected as a monitoress.

Worst, my daughter and her are both shortlisted to play piano in school. My daughter did well without mistake and confident she will get selected while the ex-teacher daughter makes a lot of mistake while playing. Guess what happened ?? The teacher chose her again!! I’m quite pissed off!! WHY?? She has already been playing during cny in a video broadcast to school. Why they don’t give other talents a chance???

I will bring up this matter during parent meeting day!! Quite disappointed on this school. I hope to see fair treatment.

Highlight to the (principal + all vp, hod, tr ) that :-

outright, blatant favoritism & biasness, or special privilege, is not allowed on any particular student, in any primary school in Singapore.

All students to be given a fair, equal chance of displaying their talent in school.

Not just keep focussing or zoom in / narrow down on just one particular student all the time -
regardless of whether this child’s mother is a current or past / ex teaching staff, from this school.
