well… for last year it has always been 3 stalls… so it’s still manageable for me personally.

As for lunch… the student care will cater from the respective stalls. Once a week (can’t remember which day) is vegetarian day. Usually that’s when they will cater the spaghetti from the Malay stall.

Don look anywhere else.. Palm View is the best school!!!. hehehhee.

But seriously.. do keep a lookout for the open house. Thats the best time for you to take a look at the school. You get to talk to the teachers and principal and see for yourself if the school culture and vision is in line with what you expect.

In the meantime, look back at the conversations here and you should have a rough idea of what goes around in the school. 🙂

            Hi,

Can anyone pls share when is the student care registration open for the intake next year.
Do I have to register him first or I can register him after I confirm that he manage to get a vacancy in this school first.
I am afraid that the student care is full or will be on waiting list…
I would like to secure him to a confirm vacancy in the student care first and so when can I register him…
            Thanks in advance…

The student care only takes in students from Palm View. So I tink u have to secure a place n the school first then you can secure the place in the student care. My sense is that once your child is accepted in the school, then they will send the necc documents and registration details for the books, uniform, school transport, student care, etc.

                Hi,

                Thanks for your prompt reply.
Hmm… As my consideration on the school priority is the student care service provided in the school.
My concern is what if he manage to enrol in the school but student is full in the student care??

Any mummy out there enrol in the school and taking up the student care service as well.
                Kindly share the procedure. TIA

This year is the student care’s first year of operations. We were only informed about them in late Nov if im not mistaken. So at that time all our kids have been confirmed a place in the school already… the student care was more of a waiting game for us.

Even then it was not based on first come first serve basis. It was based on needs basis. But I think fortunately for us this year all of those who applied managed to get into the student care.
Personally, I would identify the school first. Then scout around for pte student care centres around the school. There are a few around Palm View and some even offer to fetch your kids from the school. If you managed to get into the school’s student care… good for u. If not, at least you have your back-up.
If you want to know the vacancy for next year, best if you call the student care direct ah.

Did any of your children complain of tired or look tired after they come back from student care? Need your input greatly. Thanks.

both my kids are ok. in fact they look more tired when they were in childcare coz we sent them to a play-based childcare so the last programme of the day is always outdoor play.

Guess that was good training for them… hahahahha.
