I was quite keen on Little Skool House at the Hub but they told me no more vacancies for K1 -

Hard to find a kindy that is not affliated to any religious organization. I have been looking for one too
Thanks for the info. Actually for quite a no. of those popular kindys, it is not possible to get a place now.
We will most likely go for kinderland at Upper Serangoon. My dd has been with kinderland Marine Parade since pre-nursery. Somehow I feel that MP teachers quality are better and also they have been there for a long time and its turnover is manageable.
We sat in for kinderland Upp Serangoon class the other day. Still feel that the teacher standard is not as good as MP, but ok.... reasonable. No wow factor type. But the benefit for her to switch so that I can coach her every day outweighs everything else. So most likely I will go ahead with it :xedfingers: -
Yeah - the playgroup at Rosemount is really nice. Before enrolling my son in nursery at the school I went to their playgroup. A good lot of fun - as play groups tend to be !

Hi,
Anyone can recommend any after school care for K1 near Hougang or sengkang area? My child currently studying in Nativity Church Kindergarten in morning session. After that I would like to put her to a after school care centre as nobody taking care of her.
I tried to call a few of student care school/centre but unfortunately they only take in children age 7 and above.
Please give me some suggestion or any lobang for after school care centre. :?:
Many Thanks. -
Why donβt you consider putting her in a childcare iso kindergarten???Personally, I thought that is the usual arrangement for pre-schoolers. After school care is more for primary kids in my impression.
Think there are quite a number of Child Care selection around the hougang area. -
Thanks for your prompt reply.
I like the environment and the way the teacher teach in Nativity Church.
Moreover, if she study in this school, she has higher chance to enter into CHIJ Primary School.
Hopefully I can find a after school care for her. Thanks for your suggestion. -

Are you sure about this? Based on the the P1 registration guideline, this don't appear to be the case. You might want to double check. I also heard from friends before that their child is in some PCF kindergarten near some schools and this will allow them to gain priority in P1. I was like
I was recently sourcing for a kindergarten around the area. Some feedback I heard was on Little Tree House (around Jln Nuang) but they are full. In my case, I was looking for kindergarten rather than CCC and I observed that there are many options for CCC but little for kindergarten. -

I think you need to check out about this. Piority admission will be given to baptised Catholics, but may not to anybody who just attended a Church kindergarten. -

This is only my thinking. Thanks to your advice. Hope that she is lucky to enter into CHIJ Primary School. -
