In terms of traditional Chinese culture exposure, immersion values taught and imparted, plus the breadth & depth of Chinese curriculum lessons taught -

Kong hwa primary school is a better school than (Sji junior or acs.)

Kong hwa is a sap school.
The level of proficiency for languages taught in kong hwa for (English, Chinese) expectations -
      Is very high !
Kong hwa standard is as good as Tao nan mainstream standard.
Only difference is Tao nan is Gep centre, so has extra 2 gep classes, whereas kong hwa only mainstream, not Gep. Overall, Kong hwa is a very good school.

Neither Sji nor acs is sap.
Go back to your alma mater.

If really desire Sji or acs -
monitor the last day (ie. 3rd day) of phase 2c, to see how high / low, your chance is.

If your child is young, given a choice, it is always better to choose a sap school. It is a blessing to study in kong hwa. Perhaps you/ yr Husb may join kong hwa parents support group, get in touch & support his alma mater school activities.

So many parents staying around guillemard / Geylang / nearby katong -
Dying to enrol their child into kong hwa.
Quite a number of p6 students from kong hwa end up in secondary schools like ri, hwa chong, nanyang girls high, Dunman high, Anglican high, etc.

I went to Kong Hwa yesterday and checked how to apply for PV. But the officer said that they will no longer provide any PV positions since this year onwards. So sad to hear about it. My girl was born in 2010. Any good suggestions to increase the chance to study in Kong Hwa? Thanks a lot!

You may want to try doing grassroots volunteering. I know grassroots constantly take in volunteers. I once submitted my husband’s name and they called up my husband. And when the MP visited us, the MP himself told my husband to contact his office. But my husband turned them down all, cuz his work schedule is too busy.

                    Hi everyone!

I am staying within 1-2km from Kong Hwa. Does anyone know what is the chance to get in for phase 2B?

I saw the statistic within the school website, it seems that for phase 2B or phase 2C, it is only possible to get in if its within 1km. Not sure if i am interpreting this correctly?

                    Please enlighten me. Thanks!
