friends i met have been telling me they send their children to this and that enrichment class which i have not... :oops:

Any good kindergarden would have sufficiently prepared any child for primary 1.

Usually, enrichment classes are \"bonus\", perhaps added advantage but not essential.

Nobody know our child better than us. If there is something that your child is weak at, then the right enrichment class would be useful. I enrolled my DS for speech & drama because he was a bit shy.

now i remember my gal not very strong in chinese.. when people speak to her in mandarin, she would ask me what are they talking about

I’m thinking of CHIJ Toa Payoh.
She has 1 hour CL tuition because I don’t know how to teach Hanyu Pinyin. Other than that, she’s playing, bcos come P1 she doesn’t have much time to play.

We try to encourage her to pick up a book to read, any book.

CHIJ Toa Payoh is just another school in the IJ family. The best should be CHIJ St Nicholas bcos it's a SAP school.

I don't stay in TP...just that I am a former student. For the next 2 years, it will be temporarily relocated to Geylang Bahru.
Now waiting for July to register her for P1...my little gal is going to school and I'm going to miss her
