Hi Parents,
My girl is currently a Pr3 student and she was given a smart phone last week but unfortunately was not in a good condition. The phone has a dent and a tiny crack on the start button. Apparently the phone has been dropped by the student prior to my girl. This phone was meant to be used in the learning journey on this week.
I have signed the consent form that should there be any damages or lost of the smart phone, the charges of $500 will be borne by us for a replacement of the phone. With such agreement, I thought that the school will be providing the student with the new phone or a good condition phone before passing down to the next user. If I knew beforehand that this would happen, I might have opted out. -

Do inform the teacher on the condition of the phone.
If you choose to opt out, your kid will be the odd one out during class lesson/s when all her classmates are using the smart phone. -

This is my main concern that my girl will feel left out if everyone in her class was using the smartphone as given by the school. However I didn't expect the condition of the phone was that bad.ectanz:

I have informed her teacher thru email. Her form teacher directed my girl to approach someone in CCA room to fix her phone but the person-in charge was not around today. My girl has no choice but to use her own phone as instructed by her teacher during learning journey to the zoo. -
There is a new staff who is recently transferred to this school. I heard, to my shock, is the staff mentioned in rivervale pri ksp forum pg 18. The batch of P6s he/she took last year did not perform very well in psle as a result. He/She has only 1 year of teaching experience in P5 & P6. Glad that he/she is no longer into teaching. Some parents were shocked about the promotion though. I am sure the leader here is more alert and will guide him/her to contribute more in his/her new role.

He/she must be the so called \"high flyer\" or scholar! No results still can promote :slapshead: -

Hi mummies
