Still remember the good ole days back then w MR CHENG as the principal.. remember also the few times when he stands at the bus stop whenever it rains w extra umbrellas to ferry the students into the school.... where can find such principals now??

Also remember some other teachers like Mrs Margaret Ang, Mdm Rhonda Phua, Mr Lee.... such nice memories... any of ur previous teachers teaching your son now?

Actually got think of sending me children back to NAPS but q far from TPY (where we stay) so now still looking for school...sighz...

Hi everyone, any idea if any parent feels that the school is not having good processes n that teaching and learning is not as good? Understand that the teachers are grappling even to teach P1s who are not schooled in K-schools.

My girl seems to be very bored in class. The last 3 months in the school has been hectic for me -
                    1. the school seldom passed information correctly e.g. the Founder’s Day, some days are closed n students do not have to go to sch n i have to constantly chk n clarify with teacher

                    2. my daughter once ran out to the car park after i have placed her in sch n she ran out of sch becos she remembered she had not told me to park my car properly the nite b4 n that nearly caused an accident as she ran out to find me while i drove out of a carpark lot. I question the sch where are the teachers manning the gates or the security guard - the VP said they have teachers on duty. What he failed to tell me was that tchers are only on duty from 7.30am till 7.45am - i drop my kiddo there by 7.15am. So the security guard was ‘repreimanded’ but i did not complain abt the security guard… they just find someone to be a scapegoat?

                    3. any one has teachers who refuse to have their students to go to toilet? My girl did. I have already reminded the teachers to take note to allow my girl to go toilet. Things went bad when my girl felt that she had to pee but could not pee at all n she took to not drinking any water so as not to go toilet. Last wed saw her in high fever n with complaints of back pain n the teacher just sent her to sick bay without taking her temp! Her temp was 39.1 deg c!!! and my girl had to call me by herself from the general office! I had to take her to KKH for emergency as i was worried over UTI that may lead to back pain/kidney pain and the doctor had kindly written a medical note to allow the teachers to let my girl go to the toilet when the need arise as he saw for himself that my girl visits the toilet every 10 mins . This was due to constant holding of urine for long periods. Bladder is affected. The doctor’s concern was to ensure that’s not psychological issue or that this may lead to urine incontinence? So now with that legal medical note, the teachers start to inform each other to look out for my girl. But in the first place, i had told them to chk n allow my girl to go toilet. They are still young children. How not to let them go? who will go toilet to play? If they do play in the toilet - issue is with the engagement of teaching n learning in classrooms , if not then the kids have behavioral problems which calls out for attention??

                    4. very disappointed to see my girl who enjoys learning to become so negative in school. She was made monitress but that make her more stressed.

Am going to find more time to talk to the teachers but it may seem the teachers are already shunting my calls… sad…

Am in the process of considering to change sch.

Do talk to your children more n find out if your children are doing well. Heard from my girl that the teachers usually will yell at them when the teachers are angry. That’s not good classroom management…

Good luck in this school. Maybe it is just my luck.

Hi, i a not sure if I what my son(P1) said is \"true\"? I noticed realised his English is weak in Capital Letters, full stop, etc.. & i ask him if he pay attention in class? He said he did (which i believe 50%, as you know la... son... :)) and he told me the EL teacher was throw temper in class & refuse to continue to teach and always on Medical leave....
Dont sure how true is it......
