Hello, I understand yr considerations as I was always thinking how much I could be saving. Coicidently, my god daughter who is now in p1 went through the senja cashew pcf. She is 1 year younger then my son so now that she completed K2 I can compare more fairly. They are abt on par whith reading and phonics. But I note difference in maths and Chinese standards. Cgm is definatley for those more kiasu. Ie ting xie and spelling will commence in K1, from second term onwards and both wil be given weekly. Senja cashew only started in K2 and alternate weeks ( ie one week Chinese, following week ting xie). As for other homework… Cgm is 2 subjects daily, senja pcf, some Fridays only book log (write book author, title). Of course these are what I noted during 2009-2012 when my god daughter attended and compared to Cgm which my son went thru. I felt the money is well Spent at Cgm.

                    Joko22,

I asked the same question as you but didn’t get any response from anyone. Anyway I went to visit a few kindergartens around the area like Mci, cgm,Hope and Hebron.

I would rank Mci as my first choice as place is spacious and bright. Safety and hygiene is great. Academic wise I don’t see much difference between these schools as all have spellings, show n tell. Bus transport is expensive as compared to the rest of schools.

cgm, I heard a lot about it n was highly recommended. I visited it, first thing was the place smell. Likely from kitchen and there isn’t good air circulation. Place is dark, small n crammed. First impression was bad.

That’s my opinion. Its best that you visit each and every school nearby to compare their space, hygiene, safety, transport and academic. Your requirement might be different from me. Good luck.

                    Qi.

                      Hi,

My son is attending nursery at CGM now. So far quite happy with my choice. Based on the detailed feedback i received from the teachers about my child’s behavior and learning in class, I can see that they teachers are very dedicated and observed every child in class.

The school fees are also very affordable n they charge reasonable prices for outing too. There is no expensive year end concerts for nursery n k1. Instead they have mini concerts in their premise, invited parents to view and have parent child activity after that.

                      Hope this feedback is useful.

                        Hi Hi!

I'm also thinking of putting my gal in CGM next year when we're back from Aust in April 15.

                        Understand it's only a 3 hours a day session. What's everyone's take on a 3 hr vs a full day session?

How much is are the fees too & is there a 'queue'?

                        Many thanks in advance!!! 🙂
