when you first hear how motivated he was, it’s like wow, you finally woke up! after 1 week, all forgotten. when I reminded him what he said, he asked me, ‘did I say that?’ it was a roller coaster of emotions…from nagging, motivating, nagging, encouraging etc.

          off topic…sec 2 this year…no difference from p6.

Chinese tutor just told him she may not be able to continue as she is going to be very busy with a new born…our friend here told me, ‘don’t worry mummy. I can handle Chinese. no need tuition. I get a B for Chinese.’
          let’s wait and see.

hv to restart their engine again Next Week and hope that my DD will be more ‘automatic’ … We have already sorted out the top school papers for SA1 to be completed before end May, hope she can stick to it and not forgetting about the other assessments books and revision notes for science…

come to think about it… like so poor thing but its only 6mths left.

i keep telling her … work hard for 6 mths and PLAY hard for the next 3 mths…

Don't worry.. 6 months is a long enough time to fix problems and revise adequately.. You don't want your child to peak too early and become burnt-out just before the exams, right?

I prefer not to burden my child with top school exam papers so early.. But I am keeping them for the final lap..

                  Just my opinion.. 😄

Yup…don’t peak too early. The Marathon will intensify in July and no parent can afford a child to be burnt out 2 months before actual PSLE.

All the best and remember to give your kids some sweeteners in the form of desserts…but avoid chocolates and anything heaty 3 weeks before PSLE Oral in August.

Yes… thanks for the advices… i will bear that in mind.

My DD brings out the SA1 top papers and sort it out, saying that she will finished that by May… so i think if she can cope with it, i will let her go ahead with it.

R u all bringing Ur DD/DS to any open house next month?
i hope it can motivate her even more to work hard towards her dream school which is Crescent Girls.

Priority now is PSLE oral…at same time, teaching is still ongoing.

Encourage kids to do their best so as not to look back with regret.
the 3 months after that final paper will be best holiday ever…then they will have no worries when results are released.

Every year, PSLE is also the time the haze psi peaks…so take care during that period.
