      sleepy:
would forbid my dh to skate.

I'm ok with us/him trying something new. My dad learnt to blade together with us when we were in our teens. He refreshed his skills again when dd1 learnt to blade. We learnt how to fall properly first. Falling properly is not only a little pretty but safer and it'll help prevent both young and old bones from unwanted injury. He read abt it, he watched coaches and other families play, he bought a pair himself too. He had all paddings on and wore thicker pants. 😂 I suppose for first time sport activity going under an informed instructor is fine when one is older? My dad still blades when we have beach outings. Hubs can skate, blade, skoot, skate and stunt effortlessly. He's the one always poking fun at me. :pokeeye: I'm the one with the swollen bumsies. 😂

I'm referring to Janet's dh offce event. No training whatsoever just go ice skating at an event like that. Definitely a no-no to me.

I know my dh would agree with me. I can be very convincing when I need to persuade him.

Dh has been prompting me to learn roller blading with our girls. Need 4 people to form a group so that coach will come to our place. I told him to count me out, my 运动细胞 is retarded, can't teach an old dog (me) new tricks.

ladies, I hope you understand why I am upset with this lousy idea of ice-skating. he just didn’t think of the target audience…they are not sec or poly age kids.

I refused to go along because I do not want to break my bones.

I'm lousy in it. Cushy butt didn't help when I fell. But it was good fun for the family. Didn't get a private coach. Went to West Coast Park where they had group blading lessons. So for 3 months, we were parked at West Coast Park from 1.30pm to 6pm every weekend. We became dark brown during that period.

I am not a thrill-seeker...and definitely do not want to risk breaking my bones for an activity...but shopping is definitely great because I exercise in the air con and stimulate my brain when I see worth buys :rotflmao:

Sun :scared: wow super big no-no-no for me.
I won't be exposed for more than 10 mins under the sun. Even crossing a short stretch of traffic light, I will fish out my umbrella diligently. Absolutely no outdoor activities for me. keke, I know my dh is nice to accommodate all my paranoia so far. He will help me to shield some uv with newspapers or my handbag or pick a longer route with shelter if no umbrella.

Sun is the number 1 reason why I flatly refuse to play golf with dh. Again, he prompted me many times, told me many female Korean golfers still 白白 wah and golf wear very pretty. He only expects me to watch him play and enjoy scenery. I can drive the buggy and sit there, no need to leave the buggy if too hot. Nope, no deal. All my anti-ageing effort will 前功尽弃 with so much sun exposure. Sorry to disappoint him
