Yes, Peichun is a more popular choice for parents. In any case, if you would like to go for KCPPS, you'll have no problem getting your child in if you are a PV.
Your child is in K1 now right, so you'll be registering for her next June. Better act quickly if you want to be a PV. There's not much work for PVs in KCPPS, so better start early to clock in the PV hours.

Yes, my daughter is in KCPPS, P2 this year.
I got in through PV too; even though I'm staying in Bishan, my place is located <1km from KCPPS.
You may want to call the school to follow up. The admin office will not be able to help you, as PV matters is handled by the PVSG; but I think she could at least help to convey the message to the person-in-charge at PVSG.

Hello All,
I am living within 1km of Kuo Chuan Presbetarian Primay School. Neither am I an old student and want my first daughter to be admitted to this school. What are my chances of getting into this school. -
Most lilkely can get in. No balloting for less than 1 km all these years.

Hi parents,
I’m a former student from the old days when the school was at Joo Chiat. My last year with school was when they have just shifted to Bishan. I remembered I helped out in their new library. hehe…
As far as I can remembered, the standards of school was pretty good back then but not sure now. Tot of enrolling my gal. Not sure of the chances. Can anyone advise? -

Since you're an old student, I would think your chances of getting a place for your gal is 100%. You'll be registering under phase 2A2, all these years the enrollment under phase 2A2 is very low. Ha, even phase those enrolling under phase 2B has 100% successful rate all this while. So no worries lah. -
wonder if anyone attend yesterday function ~ tea with the principle??
nvr make it myself...so kind of anxious is/are there any essential information being shared during tht tea-session  -
