Small, your baby is SOooooooo cute! -
Does anyone knows if CA and SA1 marks are counted in P6’s prelim T-score ? I understand that in case a child misses PSLE exam, MOE will use the prelim score for sec 1 placement, correct ?

Correct. I know of someone who broke his arm and with his prelim score of 27+????, he got into IP -

Did your child do very badly for Math? The concern is also if she does well for the other three and makes it to Express stream or even NA, she will find Math a real struggle. If she is not that bad for Math (>30 marks), may be she should do std math.hi all
My child will be taking her PSLE this year.
She is taking 3 standard subjects and 1 foundation maths (decided by the school).
I am worried that with this combination, her T-score will be low even though she may do well in EL, CL and Sc. Just because when the foundation maths marks add to the other 3 subjects, it will pull the overall marks down. May I right to say that? Roughly any idea what the marks range will be?
Or should I appeal to the school and switch her to standard maths after her CA1 in Mar? New additional topics covered for standard Maths to-date are alegbra and nets.
Hope to receive your advice and share your experience with me.
Thanks a lot.
Regards
Beryl

Most schs do not include CA and SA1 in Prelims. But you acn check with your child's sch. -

Oh my ...!
Those who score 100 for math will get a T-score of 91.
Those who score 100 for science (near impossible) will only get a T-score of 77.5
100 in English (another impossible case) the T-score will be 74.5
100 in Chinese (for PRC) the T-score will be 72.
I hope you will now understand why I have made so much noise regarding the Math paper. There will be at least 50 pupils out there who get 100 for math, enjoying a disproportionate jump in their T-score.
Anyway, MOE will sure have to moderate the marks. Otherwise the top student will have an aggregate T-score of over 300 (a new record)
science hundred possible i get b4 -

I think it is not possible to have t-score of more than 75 for any subject.
Max t-score for each subject is 75. Max aggregate is 300.
