Took out all my old CDs....Yanni, Rod steward, Eagles and whole lot of the others. Sat down listened undisturbed with a cuppa! I feel so blessed! :love:

This 70yr old colleague of mine has retired but he keeps in touch with many colleagues. He is like our mentor whom we can seek advice from.

I love mornings when kids are off to school and husband is off to work.

The whole morning of peace and not having to talk (a.k.a nag).
Afternoons when they are back from school, I have to nag at them to bathe and take lunch...very very sian.
Then come nights, I am already tired from talking the whole afternoon and husband says I am not speaking in full sentences...and he doesn't understand :stupid:

He sounds like a very nice man and mentor. I was wondering earlier if he was still working full-time at your company..

These days i'm quite pleased to see more senior citizens actively working to pass time. My Daddie is one of them and he is still very active in sports. Soccer, swim (60-100 laps sometimes) for leisure once a week, jog, blade and run after the kids. He chose to still work and he is well beyond 70yrs old. :love:

We have a colleague who is re-employed for a few years after retirement age because of his expertise. He is getting close to 70 years old but looks so young and nobody believes that he is approaching 70. We used to tease him that he loves the office so much that he prefers to stay in office than home. He is already well to do and this job is merely to keep him alert and kill time.

I would never want to work till age 70.
