Thanks Lovinglife. Do you use vetiver EO to do massage on foot or with some kind of diffuser?

No, I just discovered Vetiver and planning to order these few days. I will apply it directly on both side of my kid's big toes.

I was re-reading this thread again & saw the posting about using essential oils. For those with kids already using Vetiver essential oil, has there been improvement in kids' behaviour? Do you mix it with either Lavendar or Cedarwood essential oil?

Lovinglife - where do you get your essential oils?

            TIA

bb_mom, I am the member of Young Living and have been using their various EOs. A die-hard fan here since their EOs helped to maintain my kids' health. Only today I discovered what nansk had shared and the best part is I can order myself. Singapore store is not selling Vetiver, so I have to order online from US store. By the way it is a MLM thingy so I better not advertise too much here. What I can share here is I use EOs neat, did not dilute with carrier oil.

I was told that other than lavender EO, the rest should dilute with carrier oil as it may cause rash. Has it happened for your kids?

                Hi
Can apply Vetiver to the whole foot sole too?

I just took delivery of the EO. :rahrah: Haven't opened up the package yet so no clue how small each bottle of EO is.

For the vetiver EO, I'll stick to recommendation to apply only to the big toe. There's probably a reason why it's so specific. Just hope it helps DS to focus better.

                    Hi all,

Read in the post that some mummies here are also using essential oil for your child. Good Luck. I like to share here also that i am using Young Living Essential oil and other household products. Natural, chemical and fragrances free..
Do drop me a msg if u like me to share what are the things i use for my ASD boy.
I am glad that he is showing good progress and improvements in school now.

There could be a little self-fulfilling prophecy here. I want it to work and I see it working, no matter how little it may be. Plus DS and I have been working on the same work revision routine for some time. But since I started using the blend of EO that contains vetiver oil, he's able to sit on his own to read a book for at least 20 minutes. Not like last time where he would move about after 5 minutes. I've yet to try vetiver oil by itself on his toe. So maybe he'll be even better? The downside? Having to massage his feet every other night. So I limit it to 10 minutes each time.

How long have you been using EO?
