my kid is attending Berries since pre-school. personally think that it helps a lot, esp my kid who really didnt like chinese since young. but now she is in Berries taking Higher Chinese, which ALPS only normal chinese, thats why she can master chinese quite well, esp han yu pin yin and sch works so far no prob for her even without our guidance she can do herself...

My boy slept at 930pm latest 1030pm
He is so tired in the morning.

Does your kid go to student care?

By the time my boy is home is around 630pm
shower and dinner will take 1 hour
still have chinese and english spelling?
With the holistic programe, i think finding time to get him practice and revise.
Normally what are the schedule you have for your child.

                :scared:

temjin she is not in student care, cos of the packed schedule i dont want to send her. we are full time working paretns, so she 's home with her grfather but most of time she's doing her own thing, by following to my timetable. the grpa only brg her frm sch bus and gv her lunch aft that she's on her own liao until i rch hm ard 530pm. I started below routine since Day 1, now she can follow it closely. She sleeps early, wake up 620am, everyday she's very fresh in the morning and never say tired for whole day until bedtime 🙂 hope it helps....

                  my timetable as this :
220pm - sch bus rch hm
                  230pm - 3pm - lunch
                  3-4pm - watching tv
                  4pm onward - homeworks/practise spellings
after done, she can watch tv until i rch home to bathe her.
                  630pm - dinner
7pm-8pm - learn spellings and either me or the daddy will go through/revise with her.
                  8-815pm - tv/ipad/story books
815pm - washing and ready for bed

                    from your time table -
quite a lot of time spent on letting your child watch TV.

instead of let child watch TV -
ask her to read storybook (both English + Chinese)

when you reach home at night:-
ask her to narrate the story plot, what happen, who are the main character, etc, morale of lesson learnt.
This will help her in Composition later on

                        Hi

Just got a note from the school bus that there is an additional $8 charge monthly.
Did anyone pay the extra $8?
