DS3 uses multi-tasking as an excuse. Once I told him to switch off the t.v. and concentrate on his work, he said that he's capable of multi-tasking. Do you know that studies shown that female is able to multi-task but male can't? I think that's the reason why we can be super-moms but our DH find it difficult to be super-dads. 😉

Not only your sons and students are funny...

You are funny too, tutormum!

Visited my sis during cny and gave ang pow to niece. Niece immediately tried to open it.

          Sis: What are you doing?
Niece: I want to see how much big 'jiu jiu' give me.
Sis (sternly): When people give you ang pow, you can only open it at home, understand?
Niece: But now I at home wat
          Sis: ??? :?

My DD1 related this to me yesterday. They were not allowed to use Chinese during lessons other than Chinese. During a non-Chinese lesson, she noticed that something was crooked so she said to her friend, \"Why is it 歪歪(wai1wai1)?\", and immediately her friend replied, \"Orrrhhh, you use Chinese!!\" Guess what she said? \"No lah! I said 'Why? Why?', W-H-Y, W-H-Y!\"

Reminds me of my P6 year when my teacher insisted on this rule too. I was penalised (with \"demerit point\") for saying \"Beijing\" instead of \"Baayjhing\" or \"Peking\". Who uses \"Peking\" nowadays anyway??

Sometimes, she is too smart for her own good. Luckily, sashimi and I are still ahead of her but I do wonder what kinds of rubbish DD1 will fill DD2’s head with in the years to come. Sigh…

U wont be able to image wat all they will talk/do in yrs to come as nowdays kids really really smart 😛

The problem is that DD1 is almost 8 years older than DD2 who will no doubt look up to her Jie-jie. I just hope Jie-jie will not exploit it.

Luckily 8 yrs then cannot follow cause the elder one will always be too much ahead.... but the real shocker will be when ur DD2 is 4-5 yrs old hehehhe

But what if elder one decides to \"impart nonsense\" to the younger one as fact, and the younger one believes it since she adores her Jie'jie? That's what I'm afraid of. (Too bad I didn't exploit this privilege with my sis who's 6 years my junior. 😉 )

DS likes to bully DD. 😞
