Just finished 老猫. There was an unexpected twist to the ending.
Now reading 不死药. First 10 pages already got hooked. The writer is very skilled.

Rite, since we're in the same line, I was merely using the principles of OO Programming - reusability!
uh-hm, that term is coined by me hor. But since we're in the same industry, I won't collect 'royalties' from u this timeJoyfulhands:
And the last stroke happens to be the one that teaches how to jump from one rooftop to another  .......Also not to 传九招,留一招

Psst, someone else is supposed to correct me. Then I can gei-gei prompt her to organise BBQ. Then I can see her 如山真面木. Kekeke :evil:U mean 不灵 right..
Btw from what I gathered, top 1% is 270, top 10% is 250, top 30% is 240. -

Does BBQ stand for Bery Bery Quiet?
C'mon those parents who will be leaving us soon - aiming at P3 but those P6 parents want to volunteer also can  - time for gathering and also to handover your secret manuals to the rest of us.
You watch those Chinese pugilistic shows, you'll notice that last time we Chinese can fly from rooftop to rooftop. But now we obviously cannot because the last person who knew this skill didn't remember to handover the secret manual. So we must not make the same mistake twice. :rotflmao: -

That's why I'm hoping that in time to come, my ds can at least get 245 which will allow him to choose NHHS, BPGHS or SST equivalent types of school.
My concern for my son is to get those neither-here-nor-there results, go to the 'lower T-score' schools you will feel a bit 'wasted', but yet very risky to try the 'higher T-score' ones, or else the 'just-nice T-score' schools are far away, tuck at either the central (ie Toa Payoh) or East ... then will really be a big headache :slapshead:
No need to go to RI-HCI-NJC (aka tier 1 schs), but hopefully can qualify for a tier 2 one. -

MumandMe:
Just to clarify, I heard that PH has 26% (>= 250) this year, not 40%
I went to kaypoh around..
RGPS has 41.3%
PH has ~40%
TaoNan ~31%
Rulang ~16%
Kong Hwa ~16%
Looks like NY has the highest if the %tage is indeed 45%..
40% is really a bridge too far for a non-GEP school.
I also heard that NH has more than 40% (>= 250). -

Both are great choices! Yes, Ts can be really pivotal when they can connect with the kids.
Thanks markfch.......Credit to PHPPS esp his FT !!! Though cant' choose the FT, but son was fortunate enough to get really good FT in most of his 6 years, esp the final year there. Really thankful
Trying (really trying HCI) but think likely still ACSI. Receive strong feedback about the sch system, support and ultimately the goal at end of 6 years.
My ds just grumbled to me that he misses PH already. I probed and he said he misses recess, friends and even his Ts :yikes: in that order. Luckily two of his best friends are attending the same student care as him so they still get to see each other daily.
When a 7 yr old can miss his teachers barely 2 weeks into sch holidays, we can be sure that this fellow really loves sch life.
Btw, do you know how well did this current batch of P6ers do for PSLE this yr? -

You mean the mummy didn't make her dd do much assessments rite? Actually that mummy was very busy accompanying her precious dd to all sorts of RG training and auditions. She is an intelligent girl and in a good class with dedicated teachers...now I wonder what kind of teachers my son will get next year. :scratchhead: the mummy didn't do much...yet daughter got 261 when she is so active in her CCA. Really super.
Mum1113:
Congrats Mum1113. Looks like this year, the P6ers from KSP all did very well.....and CONGRAGULATIONS from mum1113 too !!! your dd really does your proud !!!!
Been too busy with work and travelling a fair bit lately, no time to visit this thread at all.....and literally no time, even silent reading I mean. Happy on PH results and most importantly, my son's too !!!
Which sch do you intend to enrol your son?
