I saw a shop at Bugis Junction selling before. I am not sure if it is still there…it’s on level 2 or 3…this shop sells many interesting knick knacks from Japan as well. Their yukatas were nice but I had no reason to buy it then…

You can go to Liang Court, a few shops away from Kinokuniya. Yukata price range from $58 - $88. There is also another shop on the first floor that sell yukata set that comes with slippers and complete with a bag. But it costs $168.
There is a shop at Tanjong Pagar MRT station that sells reasonably priced Yukata.

          You can also try Takashimaya.

Takashimaya in Singapore? Have never seen it. Saw it in Takashimaya Tokyo though.

I bought a very nice one for my daughteer in a shop at Orchard Plaza some time ago. Uniqlo in Tokyo has a good variety and very cheap - from about Yen 1,000 onwards. They also sell the slippers that goes with kimono.

But do note that all these are yukata, not kimono. I doubt you can find a kimono for anything less than S$1k. I like those from Yumi Katsura. But she no longer has a shop in Singapore.

Taka in Singapore has it only seasonally in summer, and only a small selection. The shop I indicated in the above post brings in Yukata and some Kid's Kimonos via mail-order. They have some stock on display, but you can also order with them via the catalogues they have in the shop.
You must be right. Yukata is only for summer.
